Privacy Policy
Metro Porto (“the app”) helps you view Metro do Porto timetables, plan routes, and receive optional departure reminders. This policy explains what information the app processes and how third-party services are used.

- We do not sell your personal information.
- Most data stays on your device (route, theme, language preferences).
- The app downloads public timetable files from the internet.
- Ads may include Google AdMob and optional sponsored content from our server.

Information stored on your device
The app may store the following locally on your phone or tablet:
- Selected origin and destination stations
- Display preferences (theme and language)
- Downloaded timetable data (GTFS) for offline use
This information is not uploaded to our servers.
Information downloaded from the internet
To keep timetables up to date, the app may download public schedule files and ad campaigns from our Cloudflare Worker service. These requests do not include your name, email, or account details. Standard network information (such as IP address) may be processed by hosting providers.
Advertising
Google AdMob
The app may display ads through Google AdMob. Google and its partners may collect device and ad interaction data to deliver and measure ads. On iOS, you may see Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, the app still works.

Sponsored content
The app may also show sponsored cards loaded from our server (/ads/native). These include title, image, and link provided by the sponsor. We do not receive your personal data through these cards beyond normal network logs.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules local reminders on your device. We do not operate a push notification server for this feature.
Links to external sites
The app may open official Metro do Porto PDFs or sponsor links in your browser. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
